There is a new edition available of the German language diskette magazine for the Commodore C16, C116 and Plus/4. In this edition: Articles and new software: Cross-Reference, Rechnerei 003, Firefox (Basic) and Nim/C.

A new version of the PLus/4 emulator YAPE is available for download. In this version: Non-overlay based TV/display emulation, which is now the default one when using GDI for screen rendering. Other changes are bug fixes. (Monitor, video recording and TED.)

SVS/FIRE released a new version of SVS-Calc. SVS-Calc is a spreadsheet for the Commodore Plus/4. In this new version: Lots of bug fixes, Scientific notation, Grid reduction to view whole sheet, Formulas can use external values stored on disk, Paste special and if you use an emulator you can synchronize the clock / alarm.

A new Ftp archive is available with Plus/4 demo's, documentation, games, magazines, parties and tools. The archive will be kept up to date by Luca. All changes are available in the txt file in the main folder.

The magazine Commodore Horizon stopped in March 1986. But now a brand new edition is available after 23 years. The whole magazine is about the C16, C116 and the Plus/4. Matt Young programmed the Commodore 16 version of the game Thrust in 1987. But the game had a bug with the scrolling of the screen. Matt has now released the improved version including the source code.

There is an update available of Plus4IDE (Plus/4 Integrated Development Environment). The update concist of bugfixes and cosmetic improvements. For people who want to know more about Plus4IDE or want to contribute can also download the source-code.

RoePipi released a new game for the Commodore Plus/4. You can play the mazes or build your own! Features: Built-in maps (38). 4-Way infinite scrolling. Stairways and goal objects. Including a maze editor. 3 Different sounds with adjustable volume.

There is a update of the Plus/4 emulator Yape available: Implemented a simple assembler in the external monitor. Tape head adjust dialog for wave samples. Optionally invert tape sample input signal. Tape fast forward and rewind in 15 sec steps. TAP's with non-native encoding now supported (C64, VIC20 frequencies) and bugfixes (sound, tape).

Chronos made a conversion of the Commodore 64 game Container for the Commodore Plus/4. Container is a C64 entry for the Minigame Compo edition 2009. Originally coded by Charles Grey. Container is smart and cute action game in just 1 Kilobyte.

A new version of Plus4IDE, the Commodore Plus/4 Integrated Development Environment is now available. In this version: Better documentation. Re-definable shortcut keys. Window position is remembered. CTRL+TAB allows cycling between tabs. Any editor window can be closed. Comment/uncomment code block works more intuitively. The program can be used on a Windows computer.

SVS-Calc 1.0 is a spreadsheet system for the Plus/4. The program is written by Valentino and gives you an intuitive interface, powerful calculation engine, graphics generator, color themes, and much more. You can download the spreadsheet program from the Plus/4 World web page.

The Csabo's graphics editor has been updated to V0.64. This program can be used to make images or logos for the Plus/4 on a PC (Windows). In this version: Preview window added. Screen update optimization for faster performance. PRG file import and export works better, saves extra color information like Multi-Botticelli. A few minor bugfixes.

A new version of the Plus/4 emulator is available. In this version the following changes: SID card DigiBlaster (8bit DAC) support. Immediate exit on pressing F12 now optional. A new version of YAPE is available. In this release a couple of bug fixed and performance improvement. The changes are: Emulator optimization (up to 30% speed increase). Improved the tape system. Bug solved in the CPU level of the 1551. XP/Vista theme support restored. Solved a TED idle cycle read inaccuracy. The Plus/4 emulator can be downloaded from Attila's web page.

D64 Recall is a collection of C16 and Plus/4 software. This time Bushrat made a collection of 380 diskettes. Besides games there are Graphics programs, Viewers, Tools and Recipes.

This is the second limiTED compo. limiTED is a on-line demo challenge, with three categories: 64 bytes, 128 bytes and 1024 bytes. And the program must run on a unmodified Commodore 264 series computer. You can send in your entries until April 4th 2009.

A new version of Yape is available for download. In this version of the Plus/4 emulator the following changes: CPU watch frame in monitor window. File association via the menu now works under Vista. Solved sound reset problem for save states. Ironed out a joystick set-up bug. A few bugs fixed when recording to tape. There is also a 64-bit Windows version available.

Csaba (Csabo) has released an update for his graphics program. With this program you can draw / edit graphics on a PC (Windows OS) and make a graphics file for the Plus/4. A help-file and the full source code (Delphi 5) is included.

New demo for the Plus/4. This demo is released by a new group called Monarchy. The coding was done by Attila (Csio) and the graphics are from Fischer (Derrick). The demo was 4th in the Arok 10 demo competition. You can download the demo for your Plus/4 or you can watch the demo on YouTube.

There is a new version of the Minus4j Java based emulator. Mike Dailly released version 1.4 with the following changes: Updated rendering engine and CPU processing. Added FLASH attribute. Also there are a few errors fixed with this version.

This is the Ultimate Map from SVS. This Excel file contains the complete OS ROM of the Plus/4 (and C16), a large TED Registers list, graphic plans of all allowed text/graphic modes, and a table of Plus/4 bugs. This xls file can be also be opened with Open Office without problems.

Skoro from the group Assassins released a new game called Trans Logic 2. This is a sequel to Trans Logic. You have to slide the stones so that the left screen equals the right screen. The game is made for the PAL C16 or Plus/4. The game can also be played with the VICE emulator. Music was done by Simon László (SLD) and the code work by Varga Gábor (Skoro).

Istvan Varga made more improvements to his Plus/4 emulator (Linux, MacOS and Windows). Added MPS-801 printer emulation. More accurate PAL emulation in OpenGL mode. LED display for drive emulation. ROM images are now included. There are several bugs fixed. You can download the emulator from Istvan's web page.

Istvan Varga released a couple of updates last month for his Plus/4 emulator. The plus4emu is an open source emulator of the C16, C116, and Plus/4. The program is written in C++, and supporting Windows, Linux, and MacOS X. A few of the changes are: Fixed file overwrite bug. New option for saving the printer output to a text file. New set of Windows icons (by SVS).

Gaia Attila converted the 1 kilobyte Boulderdash game to the Plus/4. The original C64 version was made by S.E.S. of Genesis Project and is 1023 bytes. The Plus/4 version is a bit bigger with 1116 bytes. You can download the game and the source files from the web page.

The maps page at Plus/4 World now has 67 maps of games! Reuben Cornwall contributed a lot new ones to the collection. Some of them are: Split Personalities, Blagger and the all 5 parts of Magician's Curse. And there is a new map for Invincible.

Valentino Zenari released a new version of BalSys. BalSys is a language, and development system package designed for C= Plus/4 (or expanded C= 16). In this release 2 new features and bug fixes. The package is a complete all-in-one tool: Editor / Debugger / Executer.

Chizman build an interface that makes it possible to use paddles on a Plus/4. He made a game for the paddles called Paddle Shooter. You can download the schematics for the interface. The software that is needed for the interface is also available.

The Plus/4 emulator has had an update. New fancy Vista ready icons (courtesy of Chronos). Preliminary MPS802 printer emulation. Improved file association dialog. Optional 1:1 sound sampling (111150 Hz, PAL only for now) and a couple of bugs fixed.

Minus4 has been updated quite a bit, although only in a development sense. The debugger has improved a lot and a realtime profiler is added. The NEW source to Minus4w (complete with profiler) is released so you can change things yourself. Snasm has also been updated, and now sports 65816/65c02 support, along with some new undocumented ops and bug fixes.
